The book/play is not bad at all its just a very different style from the books we read today. The end result being spoiled at the start does not make the book bad. It's about the contents and the fact that their a perfectly matched lovers making the worst choices possible. Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy, the characters have the chance to have a happy ending however their blinded by their love for each other. The end being spoiled at the start is a key part in this process. You want Romeo and Juliet to get together even if you know what will happen to them. It's the most amazing love story I have ever read and the fact that the end is revealed makes it so much better.
