Ricky Gervais is a very good writer, love the plot and characters in After Life, BUT would not recommend to friends as the language is so revolting. I realise this is probably the way some people talk, but I found as the episodes went on, it seemed to get worse and felt to go that far was so unnecessary. I think it would have been a far better watch if he'd cleaned it up, even just a little and more people would then watch it, I couldn't watch it to the end. Underneath the revolting language was a heartfelt story, so sad I couldn't watch it.
