The story has no substance and has some unnecessary fetishisation of domestic abuse and sexism. There's nothing artistic about the dialogue or story choices and they seem to have been shoved in just for the sake of outrage.
The acting is decent.
Don't waste your money or time watching it in the theatres. Netflix already bought the rights to stream it so just give it a month.
