The first episode was slow. Stereotyped feminist, rich playboy, and egotistical psychologist. It became better as the episodes progressed, but I never felt any empathy for Kreizler. The real stars are the secondary players-the Isaacsons, the boys in danger, and Kreizler's staff. Even Roosevelt was likable. To me the show was not so much the solving of the killings nor the growth of the detective group. It was about how difficult life was for the common person in that time.I was saddened by the death of the boys and dear Mary. I was worried Cyrus and Stevie would get themselves in trouble out of revenge. I was praying Joseph would escape. Most of all I was glad not to have lived in that era our ancestors survived.
