Adam Sandler makes this movie work. He was fantastic as Howard Ratner, an unscrupulous jewler as well as an addicted gambler.

Hood but not great series about the 1949s Hollywood and people trying to make it in the business. Hood acting by Holland Taylor' patty Lupone and Darren Criss make the episodes more interestimg. Some of the plot is ridiculous like racial equality and homosexuality. It's almost farfetched in those years its controversial but geezer it's ok on the end Worth seeing but binge watching not.necessary.
