Christopher Guinness

Under-rated film. A grand story that delivers. Some liberties were taken from the bible but it's still faithful in many ways. Strong chemistry between the protagonist and antagonist animated characters, catchy musical numbers, and flawless animation. The pace is also near perfect and the movie never drags. Even the song for the movie, "When You Believe" packs a punch.

They don't make movies like this anymore. Hauer and Pfeiffer have palatable chemistry despite not being on screen together a whole lot. Matthew Broderick glues it all together in a film where you root for the heroes to get their happy ending.
