Harvey Keitel is the ONLY thing that makes this movie worth watching. He is, and has always been, a brilliant and terribly underrated actor.
What a clumsy movie. The McGuffin of finding Lansky's missing stash of money is unnecessary. The FBI scenes are useless. The obvious set-up pool affair lady and her boyfriend serve no purpose whatsoever. Then they disappear, never to be seen again. The failing marriage of the writer is tired filler.
ENJOY!
