I don't give TV shows five stars often, but this constitutes every one. Not normally a fan of Burton's works, I didn't go into Wednesday expecting very much- only recognizing Jenna Ortega from various things I've watched in the past. But it's a great show. Taking a series stretching back so far and making it gripping and effective in the modern era isn't easy, and they pulled it off massively. I was up all night into the morning binge watching it this weekend- and again once I'd finished it!! A great show. Great performances from Jenna and all the other cast, with enough mental gymnastics to leave you satisfied with the ending. 5*
