Incredible Album
Well Layered, Beautiful sampling, and a cinematic esque Quality.
I feel like this album is everything that is great about the Black experience of the 60s and 70s. It is the equivalent of the idealized 50s of white people but for blacks.
Just the name Black mahogany makes you think of back alley Blues bars and Harlem nights. Great album all around.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, with the pre text I didn't know it was an adaptation, the concept is strong and the story is super engaging given how small scale it is, i think people who are lost on the plot have to understand that (atleast in my opinon) they had already been in the loop for a long time before the start of the film, and that the grass was being controled by the dad the whole time, until the end where the other guy takes control
