It was a boring mess with Marvel slapped on the title.
The story was pretty weak, uninteresting, and seemed to end with a rushed tone towards the only sort of action in the film.
If they didn't mention the X-Men, then I wouldn't of seen it as related in any way shape or form. (from someone who doesn't follow many Marvel or DC films).
It's a huge pass on recommending to anyone else.
