With the new patches sorting out most of the gripes. I’ve taken a deep dive into outlaws - after putting it down months ago. while some of the smaller planets felt a little restrictive it’s the immensity of Tatooine (I just arrived when I stopped playing the first time ) that made me fall in love with the game on the second play….. with lots of satisfying side missions that helped build Kay up to where I was actually effective…. The vibe is just right and I can’t believe the amount of voice acting in the game that gives it a really lived in feel. Also with a few upgrades starship combat is actually great fun!

Thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes. As with most things Kaiju related, it’s more about the people than the monsters - When the trio of younger characters was introduced, I thought oh no here we go…. Another painful and implausible introduction, but they actually did a decent job. Productions top notch, and when you do actually get to see the monsters, they look amazing. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much. I only watched it because of the names, Godzilla and Kurt Russell. But I’m happy to say I’m really looking forward to the third episode
