I didn’t expect much from this book - it’s clearly advertised a cheesy autumn romance. If that’s up your street then fine but I still do have a few things that nagged me about this book.
For me, Logan was completely unlikeable and I grew so sick of him the further through the book I got. Jeanie also seems to have very little in the way of personality, she’s just there for Logan to drool over.
The plot was so expected (again, I knew it would be with this type of book) but the back and forth between ‘should they or shouldn’t they be together’ was just boring and didn’t remotely feel like anything was at stake at all?
Overall, it’s the kind of book that if you’re into these things it will do as an easy read, it’s never going to blow you away but maybe it’s just not supposed to.
