The production is great, but that's probably the only plus. The writing is cringy, predictable, and so basic. I predicted the entire first season based on the first episode.
If this were its own show, it might be better. But since it's held up next to one of the best written franchises ever, RoP is like watching someone vandalize the Mona Lisa.
