I’m a huge fan of Jack Carrs books, especially The Terminal List. Why is it mandatory to completely change stuff in the book when making it into a series?The book story was perfect, I don’t understand why they needed to add and change things unnecessarily. I was so excited for the Amazon series but was let down to be honest. I thought Chris Pratt was going to be perfect for this but something about the way he acted was just not right, kinda corny. The way he acted in Zero Dark Thirty would’ve been better, it seemed more natural Edit: I wrote this review before completing the season. I had to come back and change my rating from 3 stars to 2 almost entirely based on how bad episode 6 was. I’m really not sure how Jack Carr signed of on the add ins that they made to they story. It really ruined it for me and they completely missed capturing the book.

I was way more into the survival story rather than her flash backs. During her flash backs I found myself bored and hoping to get back to the survival story. The flashback to actual story ratio was way off for me. Had potential but just wasted a lot of time.
