I'm an old school cold war anti-communist and a #NeverTrump conservative. I'm not a Nixon hater, and I think Liddy was very smart if a little quirky. I tuned in knowing nothing of what I was going to see, expecting a true-to-history drama and some early 70s visuals, all from a predictably leftist POV. I got all that and some unexpected laughs. I watched episode 1 twice and am looking forward to the complete run. I don't know enough about Hunt to say how well Harrelson is portraying him, but Theroux is giving us a very good Liddy impersonation. Yes it borders on SNL style lampoon, but why not have some fun?
