Yikes. Such a bad ending. The beginning and middle were good, and I thought it was leading up to a big awesome twist at the end. It was definitely a confusing let down.

This documentary was so beautifully done. 10/10

I really love Ellen, but this sort of flopped for me. I was laughing so hard for the first few minutes, but then she took a very serious turn and it suddenly felt more like a Ted Talk than a stand up show. In my opinion, she used the right material, but presented it in the wrong way. She could have thrown a lot of humor in and spun the stories she told to be funny, but instead it just kind of bummed me out. I didn’t end up finishing it, because I wasn’t laughing at all be the middle.
