Overall Kurup is an average movie, one time watchable. But the movie seriously lacked the social responsibility of not portraying a criminal as a hero. The movie with no doubt glorify the insupportable things done by the most wanted criminal Kurup. I believe the movie would have conveyed in a better way if ended by the last shot of DYSP Krishnadas (Indrajith Sukumaran) with Charlie’s (Chacko) family where the Kerala Police take on the valor. Shine Tom’s performance is immensely appreciable while Dulquer Salman’s acting style is same as his other movies. Sushin Shyam’s background score and compositions are great as always.
