I appreciate that fiction requires the willing suspension of disbelief, but this was one of the daftest films of its kind. Clichés about fathers and daughters, a plot by the president's advisor, a completely unbelievable main character and behaviours by the support cast - including the predictably evil English person, and the idea that switching off a weather satellite would lead to Aghanistan instantly freezing or to all the gas mains in Hong Kong exploding. Laughable.
