Personally I believe these negative reviews are insane! I think this was a great part 2 and the fact that (spoiler alert) this ends up being a prequel is just MIND BOGGLING i love that twist! Now the movie can be a bit confusing however i think the deep meanings behind the movie truly prevail through the confusion! The ending itself is a bit still confusing like whats down there, is that a metaphor (afterlife), how are they surviving, so maybe like a bit more context for that would be helpful but in a way, leaving the viewer confused helps with the metaphorical purpose of the movie, it adds suspense and it gets you really thinking. The gore is pretty awesome however the constant blood splatter on the camera felt like much for just 1 time but then they repeated it a couple times and it was pretty cheesy. Another note is a felt really connected with our first 2 characters, Perempaun and Zamiatin, (his death was incredibly sad) but our main protagonist was very connected with the audience imo! Overall this movie is rated way too low and deserve more credit as a 2nd version and while the first film is overall better I believe this film was still great! GO WATCH!
