I like seeing an American learning the culture of another place and what happens to them. Most story lines will have the character go to another country for awhile and then come back without ever seeing where they went. And I love seeing how and why Americans are not loved abroad instantly. We in America think to highly of ourselves but we can see that perhaps the French too think they are better than other cultures. I’m ready to see what happens to Emily next.
