Man, this show is awesome. It is crazy as hell and some of the things they do (which I won’t spoil by describing) were kind of cringeworthy when I first started watching. Therefore, I am glad my girlfriend wanted to continue after the first couple of episodes because this is one of the best sci fi shows I have ever seen. It is one of those shows that can get emotional, not in a sappy way, but in a way that sucks you in to the lives of the characters and gets you to kind of feel for them. It is a feel good show in my opinion; it can be dark and all that, but seeing what the characters go through and how they form relationships with one another, regardless of each persons life’s struggles is actually pretty motivational. When you talk about mind-blowing shows, this one is at the top of the list, both seasons 1 and 2. The OA, along with Peaky Blinders, Lost in space, Ozark, The Ranch, and Between are basically the only Netflix original shows I would be on the lookout for new seasons to drop. Hopefully Netflix continues the show for more seasons.

Great show. Really like how it is put together. Good writing, good directing, good acting. Little bit of true crime history mixed with certain fictitious characters and stories. Holden Ford is a weird dude, but clever and different enough to be likable as the main character who drives the serial killer research. I also like how the show is kind of academic in ways which make the dialogue about psychology of the criminal mind sound very intelligent. Season 2 just came out, hopefully the new seasons will continue with Netflix.
