Never has a show fallen off a cliff like this one. Season one is a magnificent artistic achievement. It had all the makings of a true, beloved, timeless classic.
Alas, season two bears no resemblance at all. Driven by first level thinking, the no-talent writers perpetually poison the masterpiece with the least skillfully employed social-political narrative you can imagine. The actors do their best, but the writing is just so bad there's little to be done. The whole thing comes off somewhere between catastrophe and comedy.
Too bad, I was treasuring the thought of enjoying this series many years from now my own sweet daughter.
