Argylle was a pretty good movie, liked the cat, the actors did a pretty good job and the stunts weren't that bad. The plot was relatively easy to grasp, but some of the plot twists seemed a bit forced, especially around the 3/4 mark of the movie (where Elly finds out that she was actually part of the directorate, that back and forth was super confusing imo).
However, the writers were able to make everything fit into one seamless dance. The fight scenes were pretty good, especially the crude oil ice-skating scene (my personal fave) and the first fight scene on the train. Those fight scenes (in my opinion) made up for the confusing plot.
My only dislike was the CGI cat, it felt unnecessary to the plot and was a weird attempt at adding humour to an already stressful situation.
Overall, this was a good watch that has left me eager for a sequel (Even though the last scene was a literal jumpscare, it was a tasty lore nugget). A good movie to watch with a few friends. 7.5/10
