DNF after 15 minutes. I feel like the storyline within the first 15 min shouldn't be so bad lol. The main character somehow lost her kid because he fell off a cliff? Presumably he was old enough to not be monitored constantly, and as a kid that grew up hiking, I find it really hard to believe some kid did a whoopsies off a cliff like a lemming.
That was the first thing that took me out of the story. The second part was a woman alone trusted a strange man enough to hike back down with him BEHIND HER. Clearly this movie was written and directed by men (I checked) because, no.
Then the actress is blocked in by his car so she can't get in the driver's side.... she looks about 100 lbs soaking wet and built like a 10 year old, so I think just the slightest sense of urgency and she could've squeezed in.
Instead, her character turns around to the man that has blocked her in between the two cars and says his name in a way that only seemed slightly annoyed, the same way you'd ask your child to put their toys away for the 3rd time. No fear in her eyes. No sense of understanding of her situation. No anxiety. All of this within the first 15 min.
Then he tasered her and packs her into his car. And at this point, I'd say she deserves it.
What is it with Netflix and their shit shows lately? It's like they're not even trying.
