The actors and "look" of this are stellar. But, no one talks like these people in real life, and the use of cigarettes in every scene is insane. There are long scenes where everyone is fumbling to put a cigarette into or out of their mouth while they attempt to deliver whatever they are trying to say. We get it they liked to smoke, but it became soooo distracting that it was unwatchable. Anything Spielberg touches tends to be overdone, and this is one of those. This movie will not do well at the box office, ultimately, as it is stylized to a fault.
