Initial gameplay in the story was fun for me, but as soon as I got into the endgame it was extremely tedious and unrewarding to play. I believe they have genuinely created good combat/abilities/enemies (other than the absolutely ridiculously stupid level of multi-second CC that can chain lock you out of playing the *$@#* game), but every loot system in the game feels absolutely awful. And that's 100% a dealbreaker, loot is the foundation of the game. Every piece of gear *could* be something good, so you have to read through the details before throwing it away. But 99.9% of the gear you get is terrible, because they've flooded the game with tons of different damage type stats and other BS. So, I spend about as much time playing the game as I do reading item stats, and I don't get actual upgrades for very long periods of time. Plus they've made it ridiculously expensive to switch builds, so if I get an upgrade for a different build, I can't easily access the fun of trying it out.
They've even spread out the towns, so every time I go to put something in storage, enchant an item, salvage, I'm hopping on my horse.
