A part of the movie was a bit corny when trying to compare scenes from the original. And Val Kilmer could’ve had more scenes. I enjoyed the action and camaraderie, but I was definitely fooled after finding out how rude Tom Cruise was treating the Navy crew. I mean, I get that celebrities may feel bombarded; but that’s the life he chose. A nice, “Thank you for your service” would’ve been nicer than telling the crew to not even look at him. And for this, I give it a 3 star. ***Strictly my opinion!
