I'm going to save every single one of y'all the trouble. The game is fun. It's actually engaging and addictive as hell, keeping me and my buddies playing for easily twelve hours straight every day we get on.
The weapons and the variety they offer are fantastic, allowing you tackle each situation any way you want to. The skill trees let me feel like I have complete control over my playstyle. Also, refunding skill points and restyling your tree is free, which is a bonus and a half.
Both characters offer a unique(ish) way to play. Naoe allows you to play stealth centric, with gorgeous combos and some pretty intense and gnarly takedown and finishers. Yasuke brings the fire as a walking tank, able to take a beating and dust it off like it's nothing. His abilities make him feel like he is the dominant force on the battleground, knocking aside enemies and shattering his surroundings like they're all made of paper.
The quests can definitely feel a little repetitive, but it's an RPG, that's just the name of the game for this genre. However, they will take you on a tour of some absolutely breathtaking scenery while you're at it.
The hideout is a lot of fun, allowing you to set up and design your very own secret getaway. The options available are wildly varied and it leaves you with no end of possibilities when it comes to how you want it to look.
Pets. Adorable freaking pets.
I have almost 40 hours in the game so far, and I've barely scratched the surface of the story and extended quest lines. I have absolutely zero regrets buying this game.
People these days are so caught up in this new fad of hate that they seem to have forgotten what really matter with video games, and that's to have fun in a way that makes you feel like you're the master. This game has left me feeling a sense of enjoyment I haven't felt since AC: BF.
