Ashvin Raj's My Girlfriend's Journal is the first book in the 'Lies of Truth' series of realistic fiction.
The story revolves around a girl who fears God, Neha, who records her feelings in a journal that includes emotions, songs, poems, and conversations with God. Neha has blind faith in God. Her feelings dominate her as her life goes on and her life becomes very complicated. The base of the series is this book. The first book is a journal and the character's introduction book. This journal is written with dates and a lot of verses. In her diary, the narrator Nisha talks about her trust in God and about her life.
The book definitely has a strong beginning. I appreciated the author's lucid writing style. Although this book is just the beginning of the series, I'm intrigued by it already, and can't wait for what's to come in the next books.
