This movie was not good at all. It felt like they were trying to fit 3 movies into 1, and I did not even understand Prithviraj's storyline. The movie was all over the place and simply consisted of patriotic one-liners that were overdone. The scriptwriting was terrible and the very fact that so many people like it is quite disappointing because our taste in movies and their standards reflect the type of people we are. The new wave of Malayalam movies has taken a step backwards from more recent years. We have gone back to movies that depict too much drama, are unrealistic and do not represent actual people or even rape victims. While I understand and respect the political statement they were trying to make, it makes me wonder whether this much drama and overly done pauses (which quite honestly reflects soap dramas) are needed to emphasize such honourable purposes. All I am saying is that they could have made a patriotic movie with more naturalism and strayed away from the typical male star hero like characteristic that takes away from its purpose. Also, it was too long.
