Just finished viewing The Little Mermaid 🧜🏽‍♀️ and it was excellent. The nostalgia of the original and new rendition combined was magical. Halle Bailey did a wonderful job and I was so excited to see Jodi Benson make a cameo. Sitting in a sold out theatre and seeing and hearing all the different children’s excitement was wonderous. You simply can’t hate the idea of this live action rendention because it was beautiful. If you choose to remain angry about, it so be it. That is on you and I have no desire to change your opinion. The original film is not going anywhere, has not been replaced, and will always hold a VERY special place in my heart but I have now created a new space for this one. The entire theater roared in applause after it was over. Thank you, Disney.
