What a phenomenal show. Seriously the best thing I've watched. Each season deals with a case, unlike other shows where there's a new case in every episode. The former approach is better imo, because it builds up anticipation, and sheds light on what a good, methodical investigation can be. Love, love, love, and LOVE Bosch. What a guy! People like him are my favourite - with a strong sense of justice, and the need to make this world a better place. What I loved most was the supporting cast. I've seen too many shows where the protagonist hogs up all the screentime; where they're literally the centre of the universe. This makes it hard to see them as a normal person, in whose life there are other people - with their own lives. In Bosch, everyone had their own thing going on, but at no point did the show deviate and go in a hundred different directions. Mank, Crate and Barrel, Jerry... all of them are awesome. Very, very humane and raw. Just wish it didn't end.

This is an absolute gem! You wouldn't know what you've missed out on until you watched it. It's like a whole new world you've stepped into. Matthew is such an exceptional character. His world is so different from ours and yet, it felt so similar. Cox was so compelling in his portrayal, that I lost track of when exactly this show had left an indelible mark on me; when this show had consumed me. It is his hope for a better world that supersedes literally everything. In my opinion, the depiction of feelings like hope and optimism in recent cinema/literature is restricted to being corny and ingenuine. But, Matthew's hope is so raw, and somehow, in some tiny corner of my heart, relatable? His rapport with the other characters is what won. Foggy livened up the whole damn room. Karen was that rose that grew from concrete. I always looked forward to the scenes Matt shared with Father Lantom. Such wise words! Fisk was an enigmatic character. Looked subtle, but was terrifying. Poindexter, Nadeem, Frank (love this guy!), Stick, Urich...there's something you learn from all these people. There were so many firsts for me in Daredevil. First time I didn't skip the intro, first time I found myself noticing stuff like the colour scheme, first time I rewatched a show, and the very first time something like a show stuck with me long after the credits rolled. I found my favourite right here.

I always admired Cumberbatch, but after watching the first three episodes of Patrick Melrose, the admiration has gone way up. Such fine acting, so good, it didn’t feel like it was acting. I felt so connected to the story, so much that I even cried at a lot of points. Funny that I cry when I don’t need to, and don’t when I do need to. Well, this has just been the first three episodes, and I know that this will be one of the most amazing shows. Kudos to Patrick Melrose !

I am so deeply touched by what I have seen. So far, I haven't seen anything that has had such a profound impact on me. Extremely thought-provoking. This show excellently captures Marie's struggle, turmoil, angst, helplessness, and Kaitlyn Dever was impeccable in portraying them. One of the most honest performances I've ever seen. I am blown by how good Merritt Wever was in that scene where she spoke to Amber, a victim of the same man; how passionate Toni Collette was about bringing the rapist to justice. More than anything, I am beyond amazed by how wonderful Marie's therapist was. It is so rare to see someone show empathy so well. She made an actual attempt to understand Marie like no one did and played a very significant part in helping her heal. This is how law enforcement needs to investigate a case. This is exactly how you comfort the victim and not make them feel guilty. Because sending the wrong person to jail and letting the perpetrator walk free is doing nobody good. If you aren't watching this, you're missing out on something very very important.

I just saw this movie and all I can say is it is absolutely fantastic. Robert Downey Jr. manages to pull this role off, yet again with such finesse and charisma. Robert Duvall, who played his father was commendable. The supporting cast was excellent and every scene seemed to be shot with intricacy and attention. It was a delight to watch, making me grin from ear to ear while it also made me bawl my eyes out.

Not sure why so many find this disappointing but, I really liked it. Gripping, exciting, and felt real too, to quite an extent. Wouldn't be wrong to admit that Eastwood carried all the weight on his shoulders but, doesn't that happen in pretty much every movie of his? The beginning seemed a bit boring but, it got better eventually. Say 30-45 minutes into the movie. I haven't seen any other versions of this infamous jailbreak so, I don't know if it could have been executed in a better manner.

Everytime it felt like things we starting to get better for Alex, something or the other went down. To see myself feel so deeply for her, and to see her unbounded love for her adorable little daughter...this was very very beautiful. It leaves me full of hope and there's nothing I like more than that.

I saw four more shots please and felt like getting shot four times 😭

Why did this begin soo well and end so pathetically? E1 was mind-bogglingly good. The gore, the visuals, the subtlety...just wow. E2 wasn't bad either. Just not as fantastic as E1. Do not get me started on how disappointing E3 was. Do yourself a favour and skip E3. It will ruin any good image you have of the show.
