The book is enhanced with many historic pictures. It is a must to read for everyone connected to the seaman churches today or just interersted in this piece of Norwegian history. .

Shocking. Revealing, like an inconvenient truth. Also written with humor and best of all giving suggestions on how to do something about racial issues. Not only talk about them. The author, 39 years old, has an Obama-like background. Her mother being white and her father from Africa ( Nigeria). She is not brought up in a family with centuries of the burden of discrimination. Maybe therefore she can see more clearly the injustice that the colored people of America have, and still are suffering. I would like to know what Michelle Obama thinks about this book by Ljeoma Oluo. A must read.!
