I thought that Dead and Buried was the most terrifying movie I had seen. It wasn't just the idea that there were forces in the town that were killing people for unclear reasons but that you or others you loved might be part of it. I read the novelization of the motion picture written by Chelsea Quinn Yarbrow prior to seeing the motion picture, and in fact I had thought that the movie was based on her book. That was incorrect but I thought that the book was better.
