This documentary was great until it wasn’t. Trying to rehash what our leaders thought 23 years ago based on the intel we think they had and judge them based on what we know now is unfair. It’s the same as those that want to judge whether it was right for Truman to drop the atomic bomb or not. I wasn’t there, I don’t know what intel they had and didn’t have, who am I to judge. I was in highschool when we attacked Iraq and Afghanistan, and I remember being proud that I lived in a country full of people willing to fight to protect our freedoms. One of my best friends growing up joined the marines in 2003 and risked his life for our freedoms. But that wasn’t even the worst part. Once I got to the “Fox News” part of the documentary I said, oh boy… here we go. It was clear at that point, and probably much earlier that this was a leftist production. How can anyone argue that building an “Islamic Center” right next to ground zero was a good idea. Really????!? Even if you’re not intending to be inflammatory, that’s still highly offensive, especially to those that lost their loved ones on 9/11. That’s where the documentary completely lost me.
