Spoiler alert. Hugely disappointed. Bond is a brand that audiences expect. He no longer fulfills these expectations. His values and motivation in the latest movie are a far cry from the protagonist penned by Ian Flemming. The original Bond fantasy is timeless for many viewers. The James that runs through a forest with his kid on his arm and misses the deadline for escape at the closing moments to pick up a doll for the kid and dies for his family is inconsistent, inconceivable and deviates lightyears away from the book s premise and the author s promise.
