This is a fantastic film visually with greatly talented actresses and actors, amazing voices and fantastic music. The talent and production is astounding!

This series is very well done and follows the books closely. I recommend reading the first book and then watching the first season of the series. Then decide if you want to read the other books first or watch subsequent seasons. I read the first book and when I watched Season 1, I felt that the series portrayed the characters exactly how I imagined them from the book. It is such a rich story that spans decades, provides an intimate view of post war Italy and draws out all the characters so well. Every season of this series is amazing and each of the 4 books are also amazing. Of course, the brilliant one was Lila.

Soo good! Powerful message, stunning visuals, creative storytelling, funny and emotional too with fantastic actors! We just loved it and so glad we saw it in a theater.

Classic! Sweet! Funny! It’s the kind of movie that just never goes out of style.
