Phenomenal! Everything you need to understand Turkish culture and the current "divide" while appreciating the subtle beauty of both sides. Showing effectively, that no matter what side you're on, we all face challenges and issues.

I cannot believe this is Reese Witherspoon's first film. Wow!. Nothing I didn't like about this one (except one beating, but I reconciled with this scene). And I am a city girl in love with the country life. This movie is not only about love and sisters and growing up. It's also about the country life and all it has to offer. Simplicity is exquisite.

I adore this movie. Something I can enjoy with my kids and my Mom. And it takes me back to the late 1970s, to my pre-teens rolling skating and falling in love :)
