They completely lost the plot and racial elements of season 1 and tried to lazily tie this narrative into that iconic first season at the end of the season. I would’ve enjoyed it more if they had either flipped the narrative of the first season; therefore putting a white family in a black neighborhood that is unnaturally unwelcoming or continued the narrative by making either the crooked cop or Edmund’s foster dad be connected to a demonic spirit like the white people from the 1st season.
