I love ghibli and I think every ghibli movie is a work of art, But this one... 😬 Storyline is so messy and ridiculous, Rikako (main girl) is being an absolute witch who only cares for herself and not others. Borrowed 60k and 20k yen for stupid dreams, worst part is that she didnt pay it back..😭 she also TRIED to trick yumi into going to tokyo w/ her which i personally think is something that is UNFORGIVEABLE, but then again the movie is about teenager life and i can definitely a teenager do these kinds of stuff(in different situations, i guess🤷🏻‍♀️) but the fact she does not change in the end of the movie is embarassing. And whats even more embarassing is that taku (main guy) falls in love with her? Rikako is the type of character that looks like she should be the main girl but her attitude isnt it. She only sees 1 side of the story and shes hating on the other one. And takus best friend taking rikako side just shows that beauty standards is REAL. Rikako is a narcissist, manipulative, spoiled, know it all, and crybaby that needs to be humbled🙏🏻🙏🏻 Overall its a okay movie, I would watch it again but i would have to skip sum of the parts of the movie time to time. this is pretty much a rikako vent lol😭
