I was ashamed that the staff In the immigration were so rude to these two people , one of the staff was eating , the other talking down to the couple and the third immigration person I think wasn’t concentrating , just on his phone , all the people that the refugees came into contact with at the housing office were also disrespectful . They were given a house that was like a rubbish tip and the housing just expected them to be grateful . The point I’m trying to make is why did the director portray all theses English people in this way , was it because it was from true personal accounts of how they were treated ? If so I’m very ashamed that these people were English like myself and I would hope that this isn’t the true way that immigrants / migrants and people in genuine need for help are treated
Getting back to the film , it gave me the shivers and was very scarey so I enjoyed most of it
