ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR KIDS, PARENTS. IT'S NOT VIVIENNE'S FAULT THAT YOUR KIDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO AREN'T OLD ENOUGH TO WATCH THE SHOW WATCHES THE SHOW. IT IS THE ADULTS' RESPONSIBILITY TO MONITOR AND CHECK WHAT THEIR CHILD IS DOING ON THE INTERNET AND WHAT THEY SEE... ANYWAYS, ONTO THE REVIEW... An absolutely fun 18+ Musical show with interesting characters and marvelous character design. Vivienne Medrano is extraordinarily talented in her works that she has created over the years despite the hardships and drama that has surrounded her, including her humor. The music is very well written and does a great job at progressing storylines and plot points, and conveying emotions... and they're super duper catchy. There are 2 songs per episode, and I can see how people don't really like how often they sing, but that's the show's baseline and point, it's supposed to be like that. While I can agree that the first season that only has 8 episodes' story feels a bit rushed and quick, but there was so much that went into everything and it was made over the timespan of multiple years, of which i can appreciate. I don't care who is in the background of the show's production, as long as what they write isn't actually disgusting and is really beautiful and well done, that's all that should matter. The show is fun, but VERY adult.
