“I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”
- Ronald Reagan
I felt the movie was produced with an agenda and purely commercial purpose without weighing the repercussions of propagating such irresponsible narratives.
Some inhumane messages communicated:
Parenthood is seen as demeaning in a conversation between the protagonist and her mother-in-law. Only that activities which produce economic value and fame are counted worthy in the movie.
The Western Pro-choice movement's cliche phrase of 'its my body, its my choice' is repeated by a doctor who missed the actual intent of the Original Hippocratic oath which says 'Neither will I give a woman means to procure an abortion. It promotes the murder of babies who are deemed to be unworthy at the cost of bad parenting worries and a booming movie career. A baby that stands in the way of leaving behind a legacy is to be wiped out.
Till the end, I watched the movie with the hope that it will have a message to the community that positively impacts it. I agree there is freedom of expression in thoughts and narratives. But as a responsible citizen (@JudeAnthany), see if what is said is misleading people.
