I watched this movie this weekend and my heart was so heavy. Even though the young boys suffered a very traumatic experience, I was proud that they agreed to stand their ground with their truth. I believe more African American and Latino parents should view this and educate their sons and daughters about the evil that is present in this world. Many kudos for Ava DuVernay for her courage and the gift God has given her to tell the truth.

This was one of the worst movies I’ve seen with John Travolta and Morgan Freeman in. I knew when the movie started out in the dark there was no where to go but down. The plot was all over the place. Glad I only rented the movie.
