I like it. In an offhand way, it reminds me a bit of Virgin river. The only thing that really bothers me about the whole thing is that they let Maddie go around with her butt hanging out and all she ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER wears is daisy dukes and fishnets, it seems. I don't think her dressing provocatively gives any credence to the show whatsoever and she could dress a little more conservatively and the show would mean the same thing. Having said all of that, I do hope that there will be another season.

I guess it's sort of okay but I really hate the way Jeffrey Alan Marks and Cassidy treat their dog. You can tell that the dog is old and it's trying to tell them something and all they do is tell it to get out of the way. That's how they're going to feel if they make it to a nursing home.

A tangled web. Definitely keeps you engrossed. The one thing that I noticed was military police Shane Tessier has a lot of longer-than-5-o'clock beard stubble. Military are not allowed to have beard stubble here in the USA. I don't know about other countries, though. I just thought it was weird and possibly not something that was researched to make things more believable.

It was everything I could do to get through the intro alone.... then I tried really hard to stay with it and I couldn't handle it and after 15 or so minutes I gave up. Cheesy, boring, horrible! I couldn't imagine how it could ever get in it better. I don't understand where all these rave reviews are coming from. Anybody that would think that this was good must lead one of those boring, DULL lives. For me personally, I've got to move on.

1. Crown Royal isn't yellow. 2. You can't drink an entire bottle of crown Royal and still function. 3. Half the time you don't know what is reality and what is fantasy in his head. Nothing worked out like it should have and it was frustrating And overall, depressing.

I watched this because it was filmed in the area I live in and the scenery caught my eye. I found it to be really awkward and uncomfortable. First, if I rent a room and someone's house, I do not want that person in my room for any reason, especially of the opposite sex (ptsd related reasons). If I need something tended to, I'll say so. Next, I don't believe I would expect my meals to all be prepared or my sheets to be changed daily. I'm just not used to that. I will say that the acting was pretty good. The plot was weird but it does happen that way sometimes and there are people that are like this landlady. Through the whole thing, I felt very sorry for her. She is both delusional and lonely. I think I felt more sorry for the others she encountered, though.

So far it is holding my attention but I'm only in season 1. One thing that really bothers me a lot is that Ebon/Rick has bar-none the filthiest fingernails I have ever seen in my life and I was married to a heavy equipment mechanic. I hope he cleans them soon and then I hope it keeps them clean! They are NASTY! The show grows on me every time I watch though so I will keep watching in spite of the fingernail issue.

Good acting. I hated the rape and violence, yet it does depict how things we're, and can sometimes still be and that's reality...
