Once I was telling my old classmate how great a driver was Niki Lauda. He was like Lauda? Whose lauda? What I was telling was beyond his understanding. Few years later they made a movie on Niki Lauda, and then I told him watch this movie Rush. He asked what it is about, and I told its about F1 car racing. He did not watch it. But I did. What a movie it was. Rush was about rivalry of two drivers Niki Lauda, there you get to hear about Ferrari and the race of 1976. Ford Vs Ferrari story predates this, this happened in the 60s. This is about how Ford built a sports car and won the Le Mans back to back from 1967, 1968, and 1969, 24 hour endurance race. Who built that car? Two people. Caroll Shelby and Ken Miles who perfected it and drove it which was the GT 40. How the machine was built, nothing much is shown about it. But how Ford's son was made to construct this machine forms the rest of the story. Miles however dies, there is a hint of it as to how he will die when his son asks what if he does not get out. Matt Damon played Matt Damon and not Caroll Shelby but Christian Bale played Ken Miles. If one has watched the Ken Miles footage you will know. The movie is a reminder that India is still a 3rd world country. We still don't have cars like the GT 40. GT 40 had a 4 liter engine. We rarely see such a car on Indian roads. We don't even see a Mustang here. But for fans of those years who have followed the sport this movie can give lot of thrills. For those who want to watch it just like any other movie, it will be like my friend said Lauda? Whose Lauda. Now there is nothing left to prove. I need not beat a Ferrari by racing my Ford. Miles and Shelby already did it 10 years before I was born. While I enjoy driving my Ford you can enjoy this movie if you understand driving! #RealReviews4RealPeople

A joke Bollywood played on itself! Of baldness, movie stars, far from reality. This year there were three movies about baldness in hindi language. The original was however in Kannada "ONDU MOTTEYA KATHE" I had written a review of the Kannada film. The film wasn't appealing in any way. It dealt with premature balding in a man and problems faced by him in finding a suitable girl in marriage. Gone Kesh was having a girl. The other two have men. The head shaved was not convincing . It was digital imagery. What the movies tell us is not to lose heart if you have no hair or less hair . But did any of them really think about reality? They (lead actors) are all good looking people except the Kannada hero. In thier own industry they have salman khan who has got hair stitched to his scalp. From the time of Tere Naam to recent Wanted Salman's head has seen surgery. Akshay Kumar is almost bald in Mission Mangal. He underwent surgery so he is bald in Housefull 4. Manoj Bajpai in Gangs of Wasseypur. How many other actresses wear wig God knows. At the same time in the same industry we have Anupam Kher. Raju Kher. Bank Janardan. Rakesh Roshan. To name a few who don't wear wig. Those who wear wig like, Amitabh. Rajnikanth. Still going strong. But is this message needed to us? If one has hair, it will add up to the looks. The message is coming from the wrong set of people mainly because they are leading actors in Bollywood. This again reminds me of the time when there were 3-4 movies on Bhagat Singh. One makes a movie on baldness, all jump in to make similar movies? The message conveyed through all these films Gone Kesh, ujada Chaman, Bala is be yourself. Be happy. Don't worry if you have loss of hair. The movies are not entertaining. Adding few jokes here and there is not entertaining. And these are definitely not comedy movies. Balding is a problem. And these 3 hindi movies do not provide any solution. Rather they made bald people like Salman look like a joke. Perhaps it's a joke Bollywood played on itself and we all are paying but who is laughing??? #RealReviews4RealPeople

These days actors are made to look young through digital imagery. But the head shaved of lead character was not convincing. The movie is about hair loss in women. And how they cope up with it. Acting department is ok. All three lead characters mom, dad, daughter even mall manager was good. The girl throws her wig in the end. How many girls can do this? How many of us hace seen a bald woman? Men like salman khan get their heads stitched with hair follicles only to not look bald. I have personally known females who have lost hair, they try to hide it using many methods that are shown in the movie. Most of them have still not found a groom in match. This point is realistically shown in the movie. But a guy okaying a bald girl is far from reality. And this is where the film fails. Does the movie try to induce fearlessness in girls to show their bald heads? It does to some extent. But such a message will not help a balding girl. #RealReviews4RealPeople

Rather than trying to teach how other way this movie could have been made, which almost all reviews tell. I rather saw this movie as very realistic. Lead character doesn't get into adopting the baby and raising it. He ensures the way his foster parents ensured that he would have enough money to live independently by keeping valuable stamps in a bank locker. Hr sets up a trust and gives the stamps to the child welfare officer to hand it over to the baby when it becomes adult. This only goes to say how difficult laws are even in the US of A regarding adoption.. Nice movie.

A who dunnit movie requires a certain slow pace. This is very much needed to build suspence. A slow feeble background score will add to the building of more suspence. This movie is a muder mystery. But it lacks both the above. They could have left out the timings. Putting timestamps lead only to more chaos in an already chaotically told story. The editor could have taken it a little easy on himself. This would have helped the overall pace of the movie. The lead actor is good, the supporting cast ok. The film is now remade as Aa Drushya in Kannada starring crazy star V.Ravichandran. The Kannada version is far suspenseful than this original.

I watched the movie in Hindi. With all due respect to prabhas's last movie, Bahubali, his personality did not suit the character he played. Though there are great action sequences, 90% of the movie is digitised. All CGI work looks great. But the movie lacked any kind of flow. It felt as if the movie was made only to show digital imagery. Prabhas can't speak Hindi. Being Hyderabadi he should have learnt Hindi Urdu that too he is an actor. And for an actor if he or she learns new language. It will benefit his own career. Dialogues were horrible. The cast is filled with yesteryear hindi actors Music was unnoticeable. I couldn't sit through the entire movie. I left just after the interval. Prabhas should stop doing such roles as Saaho. Pure waste of time and money, this one.

They choose a aunty to play school girl. 🤣🤣 This will be hailed by donkeys as classic and sent to film festivals. There is no scope for newcomers like me. Everywhere caste rules. Coming to the movie, innocence should be visible in young faces, on older looking faces it will give a look of mentally deranged. Cheap dialogues, dagar reminds of Jaggesh. Tarle nun maga. Lead isn't good. They literally made a woman play highschool girl.

Bruce Wayne is still a kid. Turns out that Arthur who plays joker is the illegitimate son of Wayne senior. Reminded me of NDT. Google ND Tiwari's son. Why the clown ? It's because Arthur was told by his mom thar he was born to bring smiles on people's faces. Plus Thomas Wayne ie Wayne senior calls people of Gotham clowns. These type of movies I have seen since 1975. Take Deewar, Vijay becomes a gangster, his brother becomes a policeman. Shakti, father is policeman son is gangster. Bad characters are liked by people, for people who can't be bad in real life, when they see lead character in the movie kill, punch kick etc. Salman is loved for the same reason 😃. Arthur goes one step ahead by killing his mother. After he sees adoption papers which he steals from medical records department of the hospital where his mother is admitted after a stroke, and thinks that his mother lied about iligetimate father Thomas Wayne. He goes on a killing spree first his colleague, then Murray Franklin played by Robert de Niro on live TV. People see this and are encouraged to go on rampage wearing clown masks. Give anybody a mask they'll do things they didn't imagine themselves doing. The Mask, Jim Carrey, it's similar to that. What we saw in heath ledger as joker is the Mask became the man. Arthur isn't mad or lunatic. Why'd I need a gun? He says no he won't take it. But people around him trouble him much and make him use the gun. NDT agreed. But Thomas Wayne did not. All that has an impact on his mind. But due to the seven medications he is taking he is delusional. Overall nothing great but good for a 1 time watch.
