Poorly made movie with factual inaccuracy. The lead actor had no range in expressions and looked unrealistic. I just had a difficult time trying to believe this story. Jahnvi Kapoor looked like Jahnvi Kapoor does and there was no way I could identify her with the titular character Gunjan Saxena. Angad Bedi & Pankaj try to save the film, but you can't do much with a falling helicopter of a film. The industry-driven online media tried to make this film as a poster child to stop the bullying of star kids over the nepotism row. But, clearly, the movie has to be good at a basic level.

A show which glorifies colonialism and the British raj with interviews from forgotten descendants of royal bloodlines who speak in awe of the colonial times. For instance, the traitorous king of Pudukottai is shown as a magnificent emperor. There are several more instances. Geared towards the western audience who still want to see India as a land of mysticism, snakes, temples much like the same way Egypt is portrayed as the land of Pyramids. It would be great if international media wakes up and starts to look at the development and progress in India. Modern India is portrayed in an inferior way. The editor makes sure to include videographic accounts of poverty and rusticism while avoiding any glimpse of modernity in India.
