I LUV this reboot. At first I thought it would be lacking without some of the main characters e.g. Samantha, Big, Stanford etc. but like in real life, the world changes. Friends move on, people die and kids grow up. AJLT focuses on the present and what it's like being 50 somethings in this new world. I look forward to more episodes and seeing what's next for Carrie and her friends.

I've been a Downton fan since its inception. The movie did not disappoint. One must understand that a film vs a television series moves at a very different pace and this film is no exception. The plot moves quickly but the film still delivers on acting and story line. I hope there will be a sequel. My only negative comment is that the cinematography in some shots were blurry, especially at the beginning of the film. All in all it was first class entertainment and like so many other reviews, great escapism from the toxic world we are currently living in.
