This was/is my favourite indian tv show! Amongst all the trash indian tv had begun to churn and still does, this has to be one of the best shows if not the best. It had everything to make it a popular watch; a big joint family, interesting characters, comedy, drama, tragedy. Yet there was room for those who didn't have the patience to watch the old dramatics and wanted more realism. The storylines weren't always realistic but it was the acting and interactions between the actors that made the show so relatable. Hats off to JD and Aatish for the presentation but a standing ovation for the all the actors involved in the show; they really added to it and made sure anyone that set eyes on it, fell in love with it. I believe the yardstick for a great/successful show is it's repeat value and this is a show you can watch a million times over and still enjoy it.
