Very nice take on the Mulan Balad and is much better than the Disney live action of Mulan; I wish I knew about this film earlier and watched it instead of that live action. I really cared for all the characters and the darker tone suited the film. I actually preferred this take on the Mulan balad compared to the Disney cartoon (even though that was one of my favorite animated Disney films of all time and I love action/comedy films)

I usually don't write reviews for movies, but I liked this movie more than many typical commercial mass movies. It had a good message, decent production, and was pretty well written. Fun movie to watch with family.

Definitely not as good as the first movie, but it is still a really nice family movie to see. It also shows a different side of the characters.
